Working with Mail Templates

You can create a mail template that will be used to format outgoing e-mail. When you create a template you define the font, size, and border color for the e-mail. You can also add logos or graphics to the e-mail body. After you create the template it will be used to format all of your outgoing e-mail. If you no longer want to use your template you must delete the template.

To create your template

  1. On the navigation pane to the left, in the Utilities folder, click Mail Templates.

  2. On the screen that appears, in the Template name field, enter a name for your template and click Next Step.

  3. On the next screen, set up your template as needed. You can change the color, size, font, and layout of the template. When you are done, click Next.

  4. On the Specify optional contact details screen, enter any contact information you want to include on the template. If you want this information to be added to your user profile, make sure the Update Profile checkbox is selected. When you are done, click Next.

  5. You template is saved when the generated view of your template appears. From this point forward, the template will be used in all outgoing e-mail.

To delete your template

  1. On the navigation pane to the left, click Mail Templates.

  2. On the screen that appears, click the Delete Template button.



    When the Delete Template button disappears, your template has been deleted.
