Manage Nameservers

This feature is only available for domain names registered through or transferred to us.

You can modify your current DNS information and specify additional DNS hostnames for your domain within ControlPanel in the Domain Name section. Your primary and secondary nameservers are pointed to our nameservers automatically.

Typically, you would modify your current primary and secondary nameserver information only if you are switching to another hosting provider or registrar.

 

Modifying your nameserver information can result in your site not being found and/or E-mail failure. Be sure you want to make these changes prior to modifying any nameserver information.  Please allow 1-3 days for the changes to take full effect.
 

To change your primary and secondary nameserver information:

  1. In ControlPanel, click the Domain Name icon under Manage Services.

  2. In the Domain Names page section, click EditDNS.  Under the Current Resource Record section, find the two "NS" Type fields.  Under the Destination column, enter the new primary and secondary nameservers and click Update for each one.
